Stacie Lynn Hays

Stacie
Lynn Hays, beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin,
friend and God’s special child went to be with her lord Jesus on
Tuesday, April 3, 2007.
Stacie was born to Phillip and Patricia (Trisha) Hays on January 2,
1967, in Ada, Oklahoma. She is the beloved sister and sister-in-law to
Phillip Gregory “Greg” Hays and Kara Hays of Kirtland, Ohio, Aunt to
Phillip Alexander Hays and Caitlin Mary Hays, granddaughter of Mary
Helen and the late Harve Hays of Wynnewood, Oklahoma and the late
Nicholas Bit and Lillian Fowler of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.
Stacie attended the Moore Public Schools in Moore, Oklahoma, was a 1985
graduate of Dequeen High School, in DeQueen, Arkansas. She obtained her
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Henderson State University,
Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Not only was Stacie special, but her unique
skills of compassion, love of people, and kindness to all made her a
“natural” as she pursued her teaching and business career.
She taught school in Little Rock, Arkansas prior to establishing her
business in Columbia, South Carolina, where she resided for the past
twelve years.
She is survived by her parents, Phil and Trisha Hays of Hot Springs,
Arkansas, brother and sister-in-law, Phillip Gregory and Kara Hays of
Kirtland, Ohio; grandmother, Mary Helen Hays, Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Aunts
and Uncles, Charlie and Glynna Hays, Duncan, Oklahoma; Ray and Linda
Frost, Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; Myles and Sandy Homer, Ardmore, Oklahoma;
John and Janie Crowhurst, Las Vegas, Nevada; Roger and Molly Fowler,
Magnolia Texas; a nephew, Alex Hays, Klamath Falls, Oregon; and a niece,
Caitlin Hays of Kirtland, Ohio; and her numerous cousins and extended
family.
Stacie was baptized into the Presbyterian Church of Moore, Oklahoma and
her Christian Faith and beliefs remained with her. She lived life to the
fullest and was a precious blessing to her family and friends. Her
loving spirit, contagious laughter and her prized relationship with her
family and circle of friends made her a treasure to all she met She was
always so proud of her family, friends and her Chickasaw Heritage.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Monday, April 9, 2007, at the
Church of Christ of Wynnewood, Oklahoma at 10:a.m.
The Minister, Mike Hays, Britton Christian Church of Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma and cousin to Stacie, will be officiating the service. Music
will be performed and arranged by her cousin, Connie Hays, wife to Mike
Hays,
Pallbearers are her loving family; Roger Fowler, Myles Homer III, Vernon
Frost, Jason Mathas, Allen Fox, and Dan Hays. Honorary Pallbearers will
be Paul McGrady, Warren Sanders, Nate Hays, and Joshua Farris.
Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma under
the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
Her entire life was devoted to the love of her father, mother, brother
and family. Her precious memories will continue to be embraced and
lovingly missed by her family and friends. |
