In Loving Memory Of

Arthur Edwin Hamilton

Arthur Edwin Hamilton, of Pauls Valley, was born August 31, 1921 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Arthur and Ruby Hamilton.

He passed away November 2, 2008 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years.

He served in the United States Navy and earned the rank and grade of Petty Office First Class. He is a Veteran of World War II, the Korean War and the Viet Nam Conflict. Mr. Hamilton retired from the U. S. Navy after 30 years of service.

Mr. Hamilton returned to Pauls Valley where he has made his home for the past 15 years. He was a lifetime member of Veteran of Foreign Wars Post # 15037 and a member of the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Eddah Hamilton and Alice Burchard Clayton; and by brothers, Jack Hamilton and Joseph Burchard.

Surviving family include three children, Linda Jean Hamilton and Michael Hamilton, both of San Diego, California; and Mary Alice Mandillo and her husband, Mark, of Chula Vista, California; 7 grandchildren, Alex Hamilton and his fiancé, Melinda Prigmore, Jonathan Hamilton, Marcus Mandillo, Mathias Mandillo, Marissa Mandillo, Micah Mandillo, and Andrea Hamilton.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Chaplain Steve Mills, USN. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
