Faye Arlene Hagan

Faye Arlene Hagan passed away after a lengthy illness
on the evening of, Saturday, January 19, 2008 at University Village
Retirement Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Arlene was born December 19, 1929 to James Carrel Smith and Artie Madill
Mayes Smith in Garvin County Oklahoma. She had two brothers who preceded
her in death: Hubert James Smith and Wesley Carrel Smith. Her family
lived for several years in the Texas panhandle then returned to Pauls
Valley where she graduated from high school. She married Melvin Eugene
Hagan on June 7, 1949. They lived in Oklahoma City, Pauls Valley, El
Reno, Kingfisher, Enid, Hominy, and Ardmore. For many years she was
involved with Child Evangelism Fellowship, teaching neighborhood
children the Good News from the Bible. She is a member of First Baptist
Church of Pauls Valley, and enjoyed visiting other churches wherever she
lived or traveled.
Arlene is survived by her husband Mel Hagan and two children: Alaynna
Madole and her husband Jim of Denison, TX, and Phil Hagan and his wife
Kim of Tulsa. She has three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren:
Mandy Wright and her husband Brent and their son Miles of Fort Collins,
CO, Cullen (Rowdy) Yeatts and his wife Christi and their daughter Paige
of Afton, OK, and Cody Yeatts of Bozeman, MT.
Visitation for family and friends will be at Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral
Home on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 24, 2008,
in the Pauls Valley First Baptist Church with Dr. Joe Elam officiating.
Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley under the
direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Pauls Valley First Baptist
Church Youth Group or to Saint Francis Hospice, 6600 S. Yale Avenue,
Suite 350, Tulsa, OK 74126.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 24, 2008,
in the Pauls Valley First Baptist Church with Dr. Joe Elam officiating.
Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley under the
