Echol Grimes

Echol Grimes, of Pauls Valley was born May 26, 1919 in Texas to Bud and Lola Lemons.

She passed away April 18, 2007 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years.

She was married to William Kenoth Grimes in Lebanon, Oklahoma on December 24, 1937. In 1953 they moved from Lebanon to make Pauls Valley their home. She was a member of Paul and Pine Church of Christ.

Echol was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters; she was the last of nine children.

Surviving family include her children, Leta Grimes of Pauls Valley and Alvin Grimes of Colorado; one grandson and one great-grandson; a sister-in-law, Audean Colson; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 10:30 am at Mt. Olivet Cemetery officiated by Roy Shave. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
