Carroll Griggs

Carroll Griggs, of Pauls Valley was born March 19, 1934 in Elmore City, Oklahoma to William Luther and Lillie Edna (Jones) Griggs.

He passed away September 12, 2004 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years.

He attended school at Wynnewood and spent 19 years in the Panhandle of Oklahoma running a Work-over Rig and was a farmer.

He returned to make his home in the Pauls Valley area and in 1971 was married to Irene Holland at the Beaty Baptist Church. He owned and operated the Pauls Valley Welding and has built many metal building and carports throughout Garvin County.

Graveside Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at 2:30 pm at Mt. Olivet Cemetery officiated by Rev. Finis Steelman. Burial was at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
