(Wages) Grier
Christy Michelle (Wages) Grier, of Wayne, was born
August 6, 1976 in Norman, Oklahoma to Mark A. and Sandra Wages.
She passed away October 16, 2007 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age
of 31 years.
She attended Wynnewood Schools and is a 1994 graduate of Wynnewood High
School. Christy furthered her education by attending University of
Phoenix and City College.
Christy worked as an Accountant for Oklahoma Homeland Security. She
attended the United Pentecostal Church in Pauls Valley. Wayne has been
her home for about 12 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mark A. Wages on December 13,
2001.
Surviving family include her children, Bryan, Devin and Makayla Grier;
her mother, Sandra Wages of Wayne; one brother, Zachariah Copeland of
Wayne; her grandparents, Wilma Lowry of Pauls Valley; W. D. McNutt of
Lexington and Virginia Wages of Ada; as well as a host of aunts, uncles
and cousins.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that memorials be sent
in Christy's name to: Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home at P. O. Box 899
in Pauls Valley, Ok. 73075 to help them at such a trying time.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 19, 2007 at 2:00 pm at
Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. M. E. Sellers.
Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of
Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
