Ruth Gilcrease

Ruth Golden Gilcrease, of Oklahoma City was born June 25, 1915 in Civit Community, Oklahoma to Charles Belvin and Hattie Inman Belvin.

She passed away December 12, 2004 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years.

Ruth was a sales clerk for Montgomery Ward for many years.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Roy Belvin, Fred Belvin and Jack Smith; and sisters, Beatrice Poindexter and Jettie Poindexter.

She is survived by: her son, James Golden, of Oklahoma City; grandson, Jerry Ray Golden; 1 sister, Edith Tapley, of Edmond and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, December 16, 2004 at 11:00 am at Mt. Olivet Cemetery officiated by Bro. Tim Bowen. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
