Jason 'J-Bird' Gibson

Jason "J-Bird" Gibson, of Wynnewood was born June 6, 1980 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Lester Gibson, Sr. and Jo Ann Martin Gibson. He passed away April 10, 2007 at Ada, Oklahoma at the age of 26 years.

Jason attended Pauls Valley Schools then moved to Ada for a time and recently Wynnewood. He loved sports, especially softball and football. He loved the outdoors, fishing and being around people. He especially loved to be with his niece and nephew.

He was preceded in death by father, Lester Gibson, Sr.; grandfather, Raymond Gibson, Gaston Hickman and grandmother, Anna Bell Alberson; aunt, Linda Gibson; cousins, Candice Gibson and Johnny Wallace.

Surviving family include his mother, Jo Ann & Robert Taylor, of Sulphur; grandmother, Irene Gibson, of Pauls Valley; brother, Lester Gibson, of Wynnewood; sister, Shelly & Lencho Garcia, of Wynnewood; step daughter, Desiree Mitchell, of Ada; niece, Michaela Gibson, nephew, Nathan Gibson, host of aunts, uncles & cousins.

A Wake Service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Friday, April 13, 2007 at the Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance, officiated by Rev. Hazel Wallace.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance. Officiated by Rev. Hazel Wallace. Interment will be at Sandy Hill Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
