Odie Jr.
Gibson
Odie Jr. Gibson, of Paoli was born August 3, 1957 in
Florella, Alabama to Odie and Clara Nell (Varner) Gibson.
He passed away October 2, 2007 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of
50 years.
He work most of his career in the Oil Fields as a Roughneck. This area
has been his home all of his life.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Gibson; step-son, R. C.;
his father, Odie and brother, Thomas.
Surviving family include his daughters, Guyla, Niki, Candice, Rebecca
and Erica; his step-daughters, Jennifer, Michelle and Sheri; eight
brothers, Farrel and his wife Phyllis, of Wynnewood; Jody and his wife,
Aline, of Paoli; Gerald and his wife, Cindy, of Cameron, Oklahoma; Tony
and his wife, Robin; and Billy and his wife, Tamy, all of Paoli; Paul
and his wife, Rochelle, of Clanton, Alabama; Dale of Enid; and Michael,
of Defuniack Springs, Florida; one sister, Peggy and her husband,
Wesley, of Paoli; 10 grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and
nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, October 6, 2007 at
11:00 am at the Paoli Cemetery officiated by Rev. Jim Dehart. Interment
will be at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey
Funeral Home. |
