Brenda Kay (Sellers-Dehart) Gibson

Brenda Kay (Dehart-Sellers) Gibson, of Pauls Valley was born January 17, 1950 in Denison, Texas to Rev. M. E. and Fannie D. (Jackson) Sellers.

Brenda passed away March 24, 2006 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years.

Pauls Valley has been her home since she was 15 years of age. She had worked as a Training Supervisor for the Chicago Miniature Lights in Costa Rica for a time. Currently, she has been attending computer courses at Mid-America Vo-Tech. Brenda was a member of Faith Temple Church in Pauls Valley.

She was a dedicated wife, loving mother, perfect sister, a great daughter, a wonderfully devoted "Nana" and was loved by everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Fannie D. Sellers on October 5, 1997.

Surviving family include: her husband, Odie of the home; 2 sons, Hutch Dehart of Pauls Valley and Bradley Dehart of Seminole; 3 grandchildren, William Murray, and Faith Dehart and Lonnie Dehart; her parents, Rev. and Mrs. (Edith) M. E. Sellers of Pauls Valley; 2 step daughters, Rebecca Ott and Erica Ott, both of Paoli; and raised as a daughter is Michelle "Pixie" Skinner; a brother, Rev. Ronnie Sellers and his wife, Viki, of Oklahoma City; 2 step brothers, Gary Burleson of Pauls Valley and Larry Burleson and his wife, Bonita, of Corpus Christi, Texas; 2 step sisters, Shirley Dehart and her husband, Steve, of Pauls Valley and Joyce Meiser, of Tallahassee, Florida.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel officiated by Rev. H. O. Robertson and Rev. Charles Dial. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
