Patricia "Pat" Garrett

Pat Garrett, age 50, passed away from this life on Saturday, April 10, 2004 at her home in Norman, Oklahoma.

Pat was born November 24, 1953 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Mildred and W. C. Parten.

She was a loving wife and mother who relished cooking and caring for her family. Pat is survived by her loving husband, Lyndol, whom she married February 21, 1970; she was also the caring mother of daughter Shelly Cardwell and daughter and son-in-law, Shawna and Kelly Smith, also of Norman, her mother, Mildred Parten and mother-in-law, Reba Garrett of Wynnewood.

Pat was a special "Mimi" to grandchildren, Tyler and Jacob Cardwell and Hannah Smith all of Norman; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Jerry Houser of Catoosa; brother, Roy Parten and brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and JoAnn Parten of Pauls Valley; special niece, Melissa Coker of Glenpool and nephews, Michael Taylor of Norman and Marcus Garrett of Tucson, Arizona and Dallas Parten of Okmulgee.

Pat was loved by many and will be missed very much.

She was preceded in death by her father, W. C. Parten in August 1999 and a niece, Natasha Houser in March 1999.
