In Loving Memory Of
David Glen Garmany

Glen David Garmany, of Pauls Valley was born August 28,
1923 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Henry and Ollie Jane (Ponder) Garmany.
He passed away October 28, 2005 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 82
years.
Glen David Garmany was married to Flora Belle Cooksey in Reno, Nevada on
September 19, 1953.
Mr. Garmany worked in home contruction as a Roofer, but really enjoyed
anything having to do with the outdoors especially fishing, hunting and
gardening. He has made the Pauls Valley area his home since 1972.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son, Gwen Patrick Garmany; 2
brothers, Ray Lee Garmany and William Garmany; and 1 sister, Wanda Long.
Surviving family include his wife of over 52 years, Flora Belle Garmany,
of the home; 6 children, Loyd Ray Garmany of Costa Rica, Kathy Gibbs of
Wynnewood; and Laura Walker, of Paoli, Cheryl Gray of Robstown, Texas,
Lisa Adkins of Moore and Eddie Garmany of Pauls Valley; 2 brothers, Tex
Hugh Garmany of Pauls Valley and John Arthur Garmany of Death Valley,
California; 2 sisters, Jeffie Mae Crawford of Pauls Valley and Lenora
Johnson of Wichita Falls, Texas; 21 grandchildren, which includes his
granddaughter, Michele Jackson who has taken care of him and with whom he
has lived the past several months, as well as 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at 2:00 pm at
Stufflebean Chapel officiated by Rev. Terry Erwin. Burial will be at Paoli
Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
