Ruby Frizell

Ruby Frizell, of Pauls Valley, was born July 12, 1914 in Leon, Oklahoma to Major General and Josephine (Suggs) Powers.

She passed away July 8, 2005 in Pauls Valley at the age of 90 years.

This area has been her home most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Bailey Frizell; a daughter, Ruby Lorene Davis; 2 sisters, one as an infant and Annie Reed; and 5 brothers, Willie Powers, Henry Powers, Sam Powers, Elmer Powers, Raymond Willis and Luke Willis.

Surviving family include her children, Betty Lou Burson of Beaumont, Texas, George Owens and his wife, Carolyn of Elmore City, Evelyn Rangel and her husband, Raul of Arlington, Texas, and Darrell Frizell and his wife, Brenda of Electra, Texas; 1 sister, Nellie Powers of Pauls Valley; 1 brother, Clifford Powers of Lawton; 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 11, 2005 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel officiated by Rev. Jimmy Dehart. Burial will be at Maysville Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
