In Loving Memory Of
Tamara "Tammy" Lea Ferry

Tamara
"Tammy" Lea Ferry, of Pauls Valley was born July 29, 1958 in Blackwell,
Oklahoma to Ronald and Gloria Jaye Goldston Garrison Ferry. She passed
away May 29, 2004 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 45 years.
Tammy's occupation was a seamstress/salesperson for Hidden Treasures
Thrift Store in Pauls Valley. She was preceded in death by her mother,
Gloria Goldston Garrison.
Tammy lived with cerebral palsy all of her life, but there was nothing
wrong with her mind. She was a very bright, smart, wonderful, loving
person. She loved to shop and she enjoyed good food. Her favorite foods
were guacamole, strawberry shakes, root beer and baked beans. I know she
is so happy to be in heaven free from the pain and the burdens of a
crippled body. She is free to run, walk, speak and enjoy good food. Her
sister, Lovena, asked her once if she could do anything what would she
want to do? She answered, "It would be to walk, run and enjoy good food."
Tammy had a buzzer on her wheelchair programmed to say amen. It Tammy
wanted to say yes, she would buzz amen with her foot. She wanted to
witness to everyone that Jesus Christ was her Lord and Savior. She wanted
us all to be saved and go to Heaven.
Surviving family include her father, Ronald Ferry of Wichita, Kansas; 6
sisters, Lovena Garrison, her twin sister, Taletha Lynn Burel, and Beneva
Stockton, all of Ft. Worth, Texas; her half-sisters, Christa Cranmer of
Ft. Worth, Texas, Samantha Nierop of Los Angeles, California and Starla
Garrison of Keller, Texas; her grandmother, Helen Goldston of Andover,
Kansas; her grandfather Joseph Alegria of Bedford, Texas; and numerous
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, loved ones and friends.
The family has requested that a visitation be held Wednesday evening, June
2, 2004, from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
