In Loving Memory Of

Eunice I. Ezell

Eunice I. Ezell, of Paoli, was born the eight of fourteen children on September 29, 1927 in Walters, Oklahoma to James Thomas and Bethel (Attebury) Martin. The Walters area was her childhood home. Later she attended and graduated from Madill High School.

Eunice Martin was married to J. D. Ezell in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on October 23, 1948. She worked for the Department of Human Services in Child Welfare for 28 years retiring in 1987 when her husband retired. Her husband, J. D. Ezell, preceded her in death on February 29, 2000. She was a member of Paoli First Baptist Church and has made Paoli her home since 1964

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband as well as 6 brothers and sisters.

She passed away the evening of Friday, January 26, 2007, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years.

Surviving family include her daughters, Linda Diane Ezell of Chandler and Marilyn Sue Manifold of Prairie Village, Kansas; 2 brothers, R. J. Martin of Spokane, Washington and Ed Martin of Ft. Worth, Texas; 5 sisters, twins, Oma Jean Harris of Walters and Loma Dean Armstrong of Mustang, Eloise Smith of Duncan, Gladys Carroll of Velma and Mamie McMasters of Comanche; her grand-dogs, Krissy, Cara and Mifi; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 10:00 am at Paoli First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Tim Duncan and Rev. Terry Erwin. Burial will be at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
