Mary B. Webster Ellison

Mary B. Webster Ellison, of Pauls Valley, was born March 10, 1923 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to John Samuel & Bessie Lee Harris Webster. She passed away April 6, 2004 at El Reno, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years.

Mary had lived in Pauls Valley all of her life. She was married to Arless Ellison in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on April 7, 1943. After attending Radio School, she was a civil service worker during WWII at Kelly Field, where she worked on the radios in the planes.

She was a past member of Valley View Baptist Church, where she had taught Sunday School for many years. Currently she was a member of the Walker Baptist Church. For the past 26 years she had been the church clerk. She also taught Sunday School at Walker Baptist. She was very involved with the children of the church and loved to take them to Falls Creek.

Mary was a 50 year member and past president of the Home Extension Golden Rod Club (O.H.C.E.); past president of the VFW Auxiliary; life member of 4H Dog Obedience for over 30 years. She loved working with children & training dogs.

She was preceded in death by 6 sisters and 1 brother; Jalie Ann Pair, Robert L. Webster, Ella E. Cox, Leona Rickey, Mildred Garrison, Sammie Lawson and Eva Hanes.

Mary is survived by her husband of 61 years, Arless Ellison, of the home in Pauls Valley; sister, Jo June Nabors, of Pauls Valley; and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held April 8, 2004 at 2:00 pm at Walker Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Mike Muse and Rev. Howard Moore. Burial will be at Mt.
