In Loving Memory Of

Bill Blain Elliott

Bill Blain Elliott, of Fitzhugh, formerly of Stonewall, was born December 14, 1933 in Paoli, Oklahoma to Blain and Vera (Cregger) Elliott.

He passed away June 3, 2007 at his home near Fitzhugh, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years.

Bill grew up in the Paoli and Pauls Valley area. Later he moved to make Stonewall his home where he was a Rancher. For the past year he has made home closer to Ada in the Fitzhugh Community.

He and Sherlene Johnson were married in Ada, Oklahoma on June 16, 1989.

Bill was preceded in death by his grand parents, Ida Cregger, A. J. Cregger, Carrie Elliott and W. E. "Bill" Elliott; and his father, Blain Elliott.

Surviving family include his wife of 18 years, Sherlene Elliott and his mother, Vera Elliott, both of the home; one daughter, Jetta Cook and her husband, Roger, of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; two grand daughters, Mandy Wright and her husband, Brent, of Ft. Collins, Colorado and Lani Horinchi of Tampa, Forida; a step daughter, Donetta Johnston, grandson, Jerry Hines, grand daughter, Jacqueline Hines, and great grand daughter, Jasmine Rose Evelly, all of Tupelo.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. David Browning. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
