In Loving Memory Of

John Ben Ebarb

John Ben Ebarb, of Paoli was born July 20, 1943 in Carthage, Texas to Levi Hilton and Bernice Beatrice (Walker) Ebarb.

He passed away May 14, 2005 in Pauls Valley at the age of 61 years.

Mr. Ebarb was Electrician for the State of Oklahoma.

He lived most of his life in Carthage, Texas and moving to the Paoli area where he has made his home since 1983. HE was a graduate of the Carthage High School, a member of the Light of the World Pentecostal Church of God in Pauls Valley and a member of the Masonic Valley Lodge #6.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother-in-law, R. F. Avery and 2 half brothers, Lennis Ebarb and Glen Ebarb.

Surviving family include his wife, Doris, of the home; 3 children, Shannon Ebarb, of Carthage, Texas; Charlotte Strickland and her husband Rob and Doug Holmes and his wife, Francie of Phoenix, Arizona; brother, Wallace Ebarb and his wife, Martha, of Lake O' the Pines, Texas; sisters, Hazel Pike and her husband, Robert of Carthage, Texas; Margie Finklea and her husband, James of Kansas City, Missouri; and Dorothy Avery of Carthage, Texas; 4 grandchildren; an uncle J. W. Walker, of Paris, Texas; and an aunt, Winnie Webb, of Noble, Louisana.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at 2:00 pm at Jimerson Funeral Home Chapel in Carthage, Texas, officiated by Rev. Charles Ledbetter and Rev. Arnold Shrewsbury. Interment was in the Restland Memorial Park in Carthage, Texas under the direction of Jimerson Funeral Home in Carthage. Local services were conducted through the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home in Pauls Valley.

The family has requested that memorials in Mr. John Ben Ebarb's name may be made to the Diabetes Association or the Heart Association. Envelopes are available at the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home for sending memorials.

A Memorial service will be held at by the Light of the World Pentecostal Church of God on west highway 19 at Pauls Valley on Saturday, May 21, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles Ledbetter officiating.
