In Loving Memory Of

Tawannah G. Earles

Tawannah G. Earles, of Elmore City was born August 18, 1922 in Maysville, Oklahoma to Charley Guthrie and Winnie Gunter Guthrie. She passed away February 3, 2008 at Elmore City, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years.

Tawannah was married to Alva Ray Earles in Wellington, Kansas on June 12, 1946. She raised in the Maysville area and had lived the past 35 years in Antioch. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

She loved to eat and especially chocolate. She enjoyed reading the paper and working crossword puzzles. Tawannah held several nicknames - friends called her "Tub" and great grandchildren called her "Little Grandma" or L. G. for short.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alva Ray Earles on October 28, 1976; her daughter, Sherilyn Wilson; sister, Cleta Roberts; and brother, Bill Guthrie.

Surviving family include her granddaughter, Robyn Wilson, of Tuttle; grandson, Jay Wilson, of Moore; 2 great grandsons, Robbie Wilson & John Wilson, 1 great granddaughter, Kayla Wilson,and a life long friend & neighbor who is same as family, Mary McCaskell.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, February 7, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Maysville Cemetery officiated by Dr. Joe Elam. Interment will be at Maysville Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
