Melvin Lee Dorman

Melvin L. Dorman, of Wynnewood was born January 31, 1946 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Frank and Lela Dorman.

He passed away February 16, 2007 at Wynnewood, Oklahoma at the age of 61 years.

He had grew up in the Marlow area and had made Wynnewood his home most of his life and was a member of Wynnewood First Assembly of God Church. Melvin worked in Construction most of his working career.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and 1 brother, Alford Dorman.

Surviving family include his a step-son, Stephen Ray Dorman and a daughter, Sheila Jones, both of Wynnewood; sons, Melvin L. Dorman, Jr. of Pauls Valley, Jerry Dorman of Broken Bow and Randy Dorman, of Stratford; one sister, Margie Louise Dorman, of Gentry, Arkansas; 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Wynnewood First Assembly of God Church officiated by Rev. Tim McGough, Rev. Henry Rush, Jr. and Rev. Bobby Amos. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
