In Loving Memory Of

William Willard Dennis

William Willard Dennis, of Ratliff City, was born January 24, 1926 in the Crossroads Community near Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to John Henry and Lucy Dennis.

At young age he and his family moved from Pauls Valley to Foster where he was raised. He worked in Steel Fabrication as a Sheet Metal Worker. After his retirement he owned and operated the Dennis Grocery in Ratliff City in the early 1980's. Later, Tuscaloosa, Alabama became his home for about ten years before returning to Oklahoma in 2000.

Mr. Dennis passed away December 25, 2007 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant twin daughters, Janice and Janet; 3 brothers, Carl Lee Dennis, Froman Dennis and Austin Dennis; and 4 sisters, Lillie Whitehead, Ollie Glass, Essie Shirley and Glad Dennis.

Surviving family include three children, Bill Dennis of Northport, Alabama; Jackie Dennis of Ratliff City, Oklahoma; and Lisa Dennis of Salina, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, William Lee Dennis, Ashley Sullivan and David Uzzel; two great-grandchildren, Emily and Abby Uzzel; and one brother, Mitford Dennis of Pampa, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 1:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Jimmy Dehart. Interment will be at Foster Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
