In Loving Memory Of
Chris Dennis

Chris Dennis, of Pauls Valley, was born March 23, 1981 in
Dallas, Texas and passed away January 4, 2006 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at
the age of 24 years.
Pauls Valley has been his home most of his life. He is a former Pauls
Valley Panther Football player and High School graduate.
Following graduation he continued his education by attending Oklahoma
State University where he recently earned his Wildlife Biology degree.
Chris was a member of the Pauls Valley First United Methodist Church. His
faith in God was his strength and the greatest attribute of his life.
His love of football was another great part of his life and was "the
biggest Texas Longhorn fan in the world". Outside of football, the great
outdoors was something else that was wonderful in his life, especially
hunting and fishing.
Surviving family include his mother, Eldona Dennis of Pauls Valley;
father, David Dennis of Carrollton, Texas; a brother, John Dennis of Pauls
Valley; a sister, Jennifer Dennis of Texas; his grandparents, Elden and
the late Miami Blackburn of Pauls Valley and Dub and Olla Dennis of Lavon,
Texas; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins and a special great-aunt,
Bessie Walker of Pauls Valley and his great-uncle, Harrell W. Blackburn,
also of Pauls Valley; and very special friends, Cliff and Bonnie Hoyle, of
Moore.
Memorial contributions have been requested by the family to
be made in Memory of Chris Dennis to: O. S. U. Student Chapter of the
Wildlife Society, 430 Life Sciences West, Stillwater, OK. 74078. Envelopes
and cards are available at Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 9, 2006 at 10:30 am at First
United Methodist Church officiated by Dr. Robert J. Kanary and Rev. Travis
Muse. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of
Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
