Kay Denezio

Kay Denezio, of Oklahoma City was born August 26, 1947 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Alvie Bertis and Jaunice (Simmons) Austin. She passed away March 2, 2007 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years.

Kay made Pauls Valley her home for a short time and was raised in Oklahoma City where she lived most of her life. She graduated from U. S. Grant High School in 1965 where she was an honor student and class Valedictorian. Kay was raised in church and use to play the piano and sing and her mother would preach. She never met a stranger and everyone she met loved her. She attended Victory Christian Center.

Surviving family include her 2 daughters, Onna Denezio and Carmen Denezio, both of Oklahoma City; father, Alvie Austin and mother, Jaunice Austin, sister, Sharon R. Stone, all of Oklahoma City; 1 granddaughter and uncle, Ray Simmons, of Shawnee.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 5, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
