In Loving Memory Of
Estelle Dehart

Estelle Dehart was born August 16, 1918 to Oscar and
Pammie (Carter) Chesser in Choctaw County, Oklahoma. She went to be with
the Lord on November 19, 2006 in Pauls Valley.
She and J.T. Dehart were married in Hugo, Oklahoma on March 30, 1935.
She and J.T. spent their early years in the Hugo/Boswell area. They then
moved to California for a few years before settling in Pauls Valley
which has been their home for the past sixty one years. She was a
devoted wife and mother and spent her life caring for those she loved.
She was a woman of great patience and wisdom who always claimed that a
person’s character could easily be determined by how they were accepted
by babies and animals. Undoubtedly, she never met a baby, dog or cat
that did not love her instantly. She never had a harsh word to say about
anyone and was a firm believer that “if you can’t say something good,
say nothing at all”. Estelle loved to read, quilt and collect dolls,
figurines and trinkets of all kinds and in her later years, relaxing
with her dog, Sam.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two daughters: Helen Jane
