In Loving Memory Of

Rex George Dee

Rex George Dee, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Pauls Valley, was born September 21, 1928 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Rex Freeman Dee, Sr. and Buena Vista (Kerley) Dee.

He passed away December 8, 2007 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years.

He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War.

Rex was a Salesman and worked for Publishing Companies. In 2002, he and Louise McClendon were married in Nashville, Tennessee. He has lived in California, New Orleans, Nashville, but most of his life his home has been in Clinton, Iowa and in Oklahoma City. Due to his health he recently entered the Veterans Care Facility in Clinton, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; and a sister, Marie Dee.

Surviving family include his three children, Rex F. Dee, Jr. of Memphis, Tennessee; Loretta Y. Mitchell of Fulton, Illinois and their mother, Herta Dee of Thousand Oaks, California; and Carleem Norman of Dallas, Texas and her mother, Juanita Norman; one sister, Mary Lou Shly of Los Angeles, California; 8 grandchildren, 2 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Dr. Joe Elam.

A private interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
