Lillie Marie (Pirtle) Custer

Lillie Marie Custer, of Pauls Valley was born February 13, 1915 in Rosedale, Oklahoma to Albert Newton and Elizabeth (Troutman) Pirtle.

She passed away November 26, 2005 at Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years.

On November 8, 1947 Lillie Marie Pirtle was married to Cleo Custer in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. She worked for I. G. A. Grocery Store for a time and Wacker's Dept. Stores as a Cashier for many years. Pauls Valley has been her home all of her life and was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Pauls Valley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 51 years, Cleo Custer on February 8, 1999; a brother, Raymond Pirtle in 1989 and a sister, Nettie Jones in November 2005.

Surviving family include numerous Nieces and Nephews; one sister-in-law, Edith Pirtle of Elmore City; and one brother-in-law, Theo Custer and his wife, LeEster, of Harrah.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel officiated by Rev. Charles Dean. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
