Mitchell Bremond Cozort

Mitchell Bremond Cozort, of Pauls Valley was born September 26, 1993 in Omaha, Nebraska to Bremond Jason Cozort and Kristie Manning Cozort. He passed away June 30, 2006 at the age of 12 years in a car accident in Madill, Oklahoma along with his father Bremond Jason Cozort, his sister Jasie Kristen Cozort and his grandmother Anita Winn.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Bremond Cozort and James E. Ward, great grandparents Jasper & Elsie Cozort and Joe Williams and Harold Manning.

Mitchell would have been entering the 7th grade at Pauls Valley Junior High School in the fall. He was in the band and he loved to play golf with his PaPa, camp, fish & play video games. His ambition was to be a Marine Biologist.

Surviving family include his mom Kristie, sister, Samantha of the home; his grandmother, Joyce Ward, grandfather, Dean Manning and Joe Winn, aunts, Trevalan Riggle of Oklahoma City and Dayna Barham of McAlester; Sheila Danker and Jeri Dillon of Wellston; uncles, Ricky Manning and Bradley Cozort, great grandmothers, Elizabeth Williams, Mary Dean Manning and Bessie Franklin, and a host of cousins & friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Kent Risley. Burial will be at Whitebead Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
