In Loving Memory Of Edward L. 'Ed' Cox
Edward L. 'Ed' Cox, of Pauls Valley was born July 4, 1942 in Kansas City, Kansas to Lonnie Ervin and Betty Ruth (Hay) Cox. 'Ed' passed away December 14, 2004 at home in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years. He served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of the Viet Nam War. In July, 1985, Barbara Jean Mathes and Ed were married in Miami, Oklahoma. Ed worked as a in Pauls Valley School Maintenance and was a School Bus Driver and had attended Higher Ground Church. Pauls Valley has been his home the past 20 years. Among his favorite activities were fishing, hunting and playing pool. Surviving family include his wife, Barbara Jean Cox of the home; 2 sons, Eddie Cox, Jr. of Pauls Valley and Jack Garramone of Oklahoma City; his mother, Betty Ruth Bishop of Pamona, Kansas; 1 sister, Ruth Oliver, of Sedalia, Missouri; 3 brothers, Max Cox of Logan, Kansas, Lonnie Cox, Jr. of Faulk, Arkansas and Michael Cox of Pamona, Kansas; 3 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made to aide in their expenses at this time. Memorial funeral services will be held Saturday, December 18, 2004 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home with Bro. Van Zimmerman. Arrangements for cremation following the funeral are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home in Pauls Valley. |
