In Loving Memory Of

Sherman V. Clark

Sherman V. Clark, of Elmore City was born March 8, 1918 in Brady, Oklahoma to Wilson Vaughn and Mary Katherine (Pyle) Clark.

Homer Inez Crabtree and Sherman V. Clark were married in Glendale, Arizona on September 14, 1935. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator having worked for many years for Garvin County. He was a member of United Pentecostal Church at Hennepin. The Elmore City area has been his home for the past 55 years.

Sherman passed away November 5, 2005 in Pauls Valley at the age of 87 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Inez Clark on April 15, 2000; and 4 children, Roy Allen Clark, Philip Clark, and two children as infants.

Surviving family include his son, Harold Clark and his wife, Rebecca of Elmore City; 9 granddaughters, 13 great-grandchildren, a number of great-great-grandchildren, one sister, Cora Buckner of Denison, Texas; 3 daughters-in-law, Judy Clark of Granite City, Illinois, Barbara Clark of Minden, Louisiana and Alice Clark of Lufkin, Texas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, November 7, 2005, at 2:00 pm at the Elmore City Cemetery officiated by Rev. Rick Phillips. Burial will be at Elmore City Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
