Nancy Anna Fryar
Carmack

Nancy Anna Fryar Carmack, of Wynnewood was born September
10, 1914 in Arkansas to John William and Rosa Nell (Harvey) Ellison.
She passed away May 20, 2006 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 91
years.
Anna and her husband, Grover Fryar, owned and operated the Fryar's
Grocery Store in Sulphur from 1942 to 1958. They moved the business to
Wynnewood where they served the community from 1958 to 1968. Mr. Fryar
preceded her in death in 1975. She was a member of Wynnewood Church of
Christ. Later, she married Mr. Grady Carmack, who has also preceded her
in death.
Besides her parents and her husbands she was preceded in death by a son,
Donald Fryar in 1949; a great-grandson, Shayne Fryar; a brother, Fred
Ellison and 2 sisters, Ida Hicks and Oma Cowan.
Surviving family include her son, Charles Fryar and his wife, Nancy, of
Pauls Valley; a brother, S. D. Ellison, of Ukiah, California; 4
grandchildren, David Fryar, Jerry Lee Fryar, Mark Fryar and his wife,
Marcia and Ruth Ann Dennis and her husband, Tim; 5 great-grandchildren,
Steffany Ward and her husband, Alan, Angela Foster and her husband,
Phillip, Heather Dennis, Kenny Dennis and Kyle Dennis; 1
great-great-granddaughter, Gracie Eggleston.
Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 2:00 pm
at the Oaklawn Cemetery at Sulphur, Oklahoma, officiated by Roy Shave.
Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery at Sulphur under the direction of
Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
