In Loving Memory Of

Neila J. Campbell

Neila J. Campbell, of Pauls Valley was born July 9, 1933 in Valley Mills, Texas to Homer Bullock McNeill and Ruth Eudora Outlaw McNeill. She passed away October 20, 2007 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years.

Neila had whooping cough at an early age and it caused her to loose her hearing. She always did well in school and was a champion speller. She graduated from Valley Mills High School. Neila was married to Lanham Franklin Campbell at Valley Mills, Texas on June 3, 1967. She was a reporter for the Ft. Cobb Daily News and wrote a small weekly article about local news. She enjoyed traveling and vacationing in Arkansas. She loved reading and going to church. She was a member of 1st Baptist Church.

Neila was preceded in death by her parents, Homer & Ruth McNeill; her husband, Lanham F. Campbell on September 19, 2003; and two sisters.

Surviving family include her 2 daughters, Regina Smith, of Pauls Valley; and Rebecca R. Howell, of Purcell; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at 3:00 pm at Mt. Olivet Cemetery officiated by Dr. Joe Elam. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
