Martha A. Buckner

Martha Ann Buckner, of Pauls Valley, was born January 17, 1930 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Earl M. and Carrie Velma (Chastain) Rice. Her parents moved to Pauls Valley when she was just an infant and was raised in Pauls Valley attended Pauls Valley Schools through High School.

She passed away January 14, 2007 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years.

She was married to Ollie A. Buckner. For many years she worked in the Health Care Profession as a Care Giver to many in the Pauls Valley area. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pauls Valley.

Surviving family include her 2 sisters, Elzan Rice of Duncan and Dixie Felan of Pauls Valley; a special young lady that Martha has taken care of most of her life and considered her as a daughter, Samantha Robbins; 5 nieces, 3 nephews, as well as numerous grand and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Pauls Valley at P. O. Box 490 in Pauls Valley, Ok.  73075.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 18, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Dr. Joe Elam. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
