Donna Kay Briscoe

Donna Kay Briscoe, of the Prairie View Community, was born August 13, 1949 in Pauls Valley to Hamilton Burton 'Pete' and Maudie Maybell (Eastwood) Christian.

Mrs. Briscoe passed away September 25, 2005 at Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years.

She was raised in the Katie Community and has made Garvin County her home all of her life.

Donna was married to Jimmy Lynn Briscoe in Ardmore, Oklahoma on September 2, 1981. She was a Supervisor at the Southern Oklahoma Resource Center in Pauls Valley retiring after 25 years of health care and service. She attended Faith Temple for 13 years where she had served as a greeter. Preceding her in death include her father, 'Pete' Christian and a brother, Markus Christian.

Surviving family include her husband of over 24 years, Jimmy Lynn Briscoe of the home; 3 daughters, Jackie Frost of the home, Suzanne McAlister of Edmond and Cindy McDaniel of Texas; 5 grandsons, 3 granddaughters and 8 great-grandchildren; her mother, Maudie Maybell Christian of Katie as well as 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

She was a wonderful and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at 11:00 am at Stufflebean Chapel officiated by Rev. M. E. Sellers. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
