Christine Brim

Genevive "Geneva" Christine Brim, of Pauls Valley was born
January 12, 1920 in Franklin County, Texas to James Austin Boyd and Lulu
Jessie Hays Boyd. She went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, April
1, 2007 at 5:45 a.m. at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years.
Geneva and her family moved to Pauls Valley when she was 10 years old.
She entered Pauls Valley schools and continued classes through
graduation. She loved school and was a very good student. She married
Ernest Ray "George" Brim in 1943. They had two children Anita Louise
(Brim) McKinley and Georgia Mae (Brim) Burton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter Georgia
Burton, two brothers, James Boyd and Jerry Boyd; three sisters, Dora
Earl Harris, Dollie Hankins and Neallie Lu Boyd; and two daughters in
law, Marilyn Brim and Marvel Brim.
Surviving family include her daughter, Anita McKinley and husband
Alfred, of Pauls Valley; three step sons, James Brim, of Bartlesville;
Ernest Brim and wife Alma Jean, of Bethany; and Don Brim and wife Teka,
of Enid; son in law, Paul Burton and wife Susan, of Wynnewood; four
sisters, Alva Davis, of Pauls Valley; Alice Medford, of Pauls Valley;
Betty Maley, of Kansas City, MO.; and Vivian Malicoat, of Wellman,
Texas.
Geneva was a loving Granny and Gee Gee to, Andi (McKinley) Whitefield
and husband Quint, Sharla (Burton) Lunday and husband George, John
Burton and wife Kristy, Aaron McKinley and wife Tana, Amy (McKinley)
English and husband Brandon, Melinda (Brim) Lawrence, Donny Brim, Bob
Brim, John Brim, Mark Brim, Paula O'Ruke, Jim Brim, David Brim, George
Ann Sellers, and 31 great grandchildren.
Geneva was a homemaker and excellent seamstress. She was a member of the
First Baptist Church of Pauls Valley. She leaves behind many precious
memories. She touched so many lives with her kind spirit. We will miss
her always.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at 2:00 pm at
Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Dr. Joe Elam. Burial
will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey
Funeral Home.
