Francis Marie Bobo

Francis Marie Bobo, of Pauls Valley was born May 13, 1918 in Paoli, Oklahoma to J. F. and Pearl (Wigley) Ferguson.

She passed away June 4, 2005 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years.

On June 12, 1937 she and William F. Bobo were married in the Whitebead Methodist Church.

Paoli was her home from 1967 to 1995 where she was the Paoli Town Clerk from 1971 until her retiring in 1995. Pauls Valley has been her home since 1995. She was a member of Paul and Pine Church of Christ in Pauls Valley.

Francis was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Bobo on January 22, 1967; and two brothers, Harold Ferguson and James Ferguson.

Surviving family include her children, James W. Bobo and his wife Barbara and Janice Marie Baird & her husband, Ricky, all of Moore; 7 grandchildren, Toni Wolfe, Tammy Jensen, Teri Hale, James Bobo, Jr., Jamie Baird, Crystal Sharp and Chelsea Baird; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Betty Kelly and her husband, O. V., of Sulphur, Bernice Hall and Bobby Ward and her husband, Hall, of Pauls Valley; 1 brother, Joe Ferguson and his wife, Doris, of Guymon.

Pallbearers will be Jim Bobo, Jr., Greg Jensen, Jamie Baird, O. V. Kelley, Stanley Kelley, and Harvey Hollowell.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel officiated by Roy Shave and Fred Butler. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
