In Loving Memory Of

Charline Emily Blodgett

Charline Emily Blodgett, of Pauls Valley, formerly of Elkhart, Kansas, was born February 13, 1936 in Elkhart, Kansas to Chart and Leona Laura (Schoor) Fink.

She passed away May 1, 2006 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years.

Raised in Colorado, Charline is a 1954 graduate of Primera Public School in Segunda, Colorado. Shortly after graduation she entered and served in the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War.

Following her tour of duty she moved to Elkhart, Kansas and in 1962 was married to Richard W. Blodgett in Perryton, Texas.

She worked for Gibson's Discount Stores from 1977 until her retirement in 2001 as a Soft Goods Buyer's Secretary. Pauls Valley, Oklahoma has been her home for the past 7 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard W. Blodgett, on February 4, 1992 and a brother, Robert Fink.

Surviving family include her children, Richard Dean Blodgett and his wife, Debbie; Robert Paul Fink and his wife, Marilyn, all of Perryton, Texas; Dwayne Wesley Blodgett and his wife, Wendy, of Friendswood, Texas; and Laura Anna Tobey of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; a step-daughter, Dianne Hodo, of Dalhart, Texas; 3 brothers, Phil Fink and Jim Fink, both of Elkhart, Kansas and Dutch Fink of Rye, Colorado; 1 sister, Dorothy Harrington, of Arlington, Kansas; 6 grandchildren, Casey and her husband G. W. Grover, of Borger, Texas; Randy Blodgett, Darby Blodgett and Jonathan Tobey and his wife, Tonya, all of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; and Chad and Brad Hodo, of Dalhart, Texas; 3 great-grandchildren, Jake Tobey of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; Jarah and Landen Grover of Borger, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Fink, Clayton Fink, Dalton Fink, Robert Fink, Richard D. Blodgett and Dwayne Blodgett.

Visitation will be Tuesday, 9:00 am to 8:00 pm at Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home and on Wednesday until leaving for Elkhart, Kansas for visitation and services there. Local arrangements were under the direction of the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 5, 2006 in the Garnand Funeral Home Chapel in Elkhart, Kansas directed by Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart, Kansas.
