In Loving Memory Of
Marlene Blackburn

Marlene Blackburn, of Pauls Valley was born September 2, 1934 in Belle
Vernon, Pennsylvania to Marino and Olga (Lazzarri) Carini.
She passed away December 2, 2005 at Ada, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years.
Harrell Blackburn and Marlene Carini were married in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on
September 5, 1953.
Moving from Texas, they came to make the Pauls Valley, Maysville and
Wynnewood areas their home in 1964.
For over forty-one years Marlene has worked for the Burford Corpation as
their Executive Secretary. She was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic
Church in Pauls Valley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Leroy Carini.
Surviving family include her husband of over 52 years, Harrell Blackburn
of the home; their three children, Chuck Blackburn and his wife, Melanie,
of Denton, Texas, Jackye Ward and her husband, Rory of Ada, and Joyce Tate
and her husband, Rick of Pauls Valley; her seven grandchildren, Nate
Blackburn and his wife Elizabeth, Nick Blackburn, Ashlye Tate, Natalye
Tate, Broderick Ward, Carin Blackburn and Tyler Blackburn; her special
nieces, nephews, and; cousins, Jackie & Jim Olzawski, as well as many
other wonderful cousins and a very special and loving friend, Catherine
Hay.
A Rosary is scheduled for 6:00 pm on Monday evening at St. Catherine's
Catholic Church in Pauls Valley.
A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at 10:30 am at First
United Methodist Church in Pauls Valley officiated by Fr. Mike Vaught and Fr. Rusty Hewes.
Interment will be at Swam Hill Cemetery in Ada, Oklahoma under the
direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home in Pauls Valley.
