In Loving Memory Of

Loyd Beasley

Loyd Beasley, of Pauls Valley, was born August 9, 1912 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Henry Oscar and Bertha (Barnes) Beasley.
 
He passed away August 23, 2008 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 96 years.
 
Loyd was married to Nellie Mae King in Lawton, Oklahoma on December 5, 1936. He was a Farmer and had served as a substitute Mail Carrier for nearly 3 years. Pauls Valley has been his home most of his life and was a member of the Methodist Church.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Nellie Mae Beasley on February 2, 1991; three brothers, Kenneth Beasley, Marshall Beasley and Lovell "Jack" Beasley; and by two sisters, Clyde Horned and Hazel Lakin.
 
Surviving family include his four children, Joyce Ann Potts of Ada; Jerry Loyd Beasley of Oklahoma City; Jim Beasley of Pauls Valley; and Joe Bob Beasley of Amarillo; a dear and close companion, Dorothy Yates of Pauls Valley; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter; two sisters, Helen Kilpatrick, and Evelyn Erfurth.
 
Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at 10:00 am at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery officiated by Rev. Robert Griffin. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
