Ethel L. Barnes

Ethel L. Barnes, our mother and grandmother, returned to her Heavenly Father on March 6, 2005.

She was born on December 5, 1913 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Williams E. and Myrtle C. (Pollard) Blevins.

She married John G. Barnes on December 13, 1931, who preceded her in death on May 18, 1980.

Mrs. Barnes was an avid gardener, cook, seamstress and quilter.

She is survived by four children: Golda Frazee of California, Allie Lou Davis of Washington, John R. Barnes and his wife, Alice, of Tennessee and Carol K. Pearson and her husband, Buck, of Paoli.

She was also a loving grandmother to 9 grandchildren: Pauline Frazee, Vicki White, Jan Johnson, Rebecca Pauly, John R. Barnes, Deborah Ann Kelley, Rena Houck, Dea Newsom and Gavin Pearson.

She was also a proud great-grandmother to 22: Michael Pauly, Jacob Pauly, T. R. White, John Foss, Tera Foss, Jennifer Johnson, Angela Johnson, Eric Johnson, Melissa Johnson, Jeffery Johnson, Emily Laura Barnes, Jeremy Ryan Barnes, Trevor Christian Barnes, Ethan Andrew Barnes, Paul Justin Kelley, Christine Marie Sellin, Matthew David Kelley, Rachael Ann Kelley, Mary Elizabeth Kelley, Tanner Houck, Hunter Walker and Kaden Newsom

She was also a great-great-grandmother to Madison Harrington.
