In Loving Memory Of
Patricia Ann Austin
Patricia Ann Austin, of Pauls Valley, was born March
25, 1948 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Joe and Opal (Byars) Thomas. She
grew up in Pauls Valley and attended Dunbar Elementary School.
She passed away January 8, 2008 at Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 59
years.
On February 17, 1967 she and Robert Austin were married in Spencer,
Oklahoma. She was a Certified Medical Assistant and worked at the
Colonial Nursing Home until her retirement. The Pauls Valley area has
been her home all of her life and attended the Holiness Church.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Joe W. Thomas; brother,
Lamont Thomas; Daughter, Patrice Ann Austin and a niece, Felicia Thomas.
Surviving family include her husband, Robert Austin of the home; one
son, Robert Nathaniel Austin, Jr. and his wife, Pansy, of Oklahoma City;
one daughter, Lashonda Tarry and her husband, Anthony, of Lawton; six
sisters, Lois Jean Fields of Tulsa; Carolyn Louise Bray; Pauline Thomas
Turner, Vervina Thomas Matthews, and Mary Ann Thomas, all of Oklahoma
City; and Bobby Jo Thomas of California; three brothers, Carl Thomas of
Oklahoma City; Freddie Joe Thomas of Pauls Valley and Paul Allen Fields
of Norman; eight grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 14, 2008 at 1:00 pm at
Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Bishop Ronald K. Harris
and Herman Stevenson, Jr. Interment will be at Bethlehem Cemetery under
the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. |
