Geraldine Abbott

Geraldine Abbott, of Choctaw, formerly of Pauls Valley, was born June 14, 1925 in Ashland, Kansas to John Forrest and Arly (Dustin) Dillon.

She passed away the morning of, Saturday, December 2, 2006 in Choctaw, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years.

She and Raymond Abbott were married in Buffalo, Oklahoma on July 13, 1944.

She was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Pauls Valley was her home for over 60 years and for the past year or so has lived in Choctaw to be closer to her children.

Surviving family include her husband of 62 years, Raymond 'Rainbow' Abbott of the home; four children, Carolyn Tennison and her husband, Charles, Shirley Abbott, Linda Hewett and her husband, Johnny, and Lavern Criss and her husband, Mike; 1 sister, Shirlene Holland; four grandsons, Jason Tennison, Michael Criss, Heath Hewett, and Adam Hewett; three great-grandchildren, Brock Criss, Sadie Criss, and Levi Tennison.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, December 7, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Paoli Cemetery. Burial will be at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
